Dry summers and mild winters. This is what Mykonos’ climate feels like. A typical Mediterranean climate where sun shines 300 days a year! From July to August, in the heart of the Greek summer, temperatures fluctuate between 30ºC during the daylight and 22ºC when the night falls. Due to the seasonal ‘meltemi’ wind, summer days tend to be cool and pleasant. As a proud member of the Cyclades island complex, Mykonos rarely enjoys rainfalls in the summer; however, showers tend to be a typical phenomenon from October up until March. Within the winter season, the climate is mild and wet while the average temperature reaches 15 °C. January and February are characterised as the coolest months of the year since temperatures can drop to 3 °C.
